Where's the kid with the chemicals?

I would right a review, but now I'm just too sad to give a fuck. Actually, this is my favorite Bright Eyes song, and i've toyed with the idea of covering it, but I don't think I could do it justice.
But enough about me, I like what you did here, I love the rhythms, they're awesome, and almost... slippery. I just wish tere was more of it.

hmm...

Eh, it's alright. Like Stabby-person said, it's pretty much just a long intro. Its kinda cool for being live, though. What kinda synth was it?

betrayalisanART responds:

it was just basically a really distorted square tpye synth really distorted with a lot of random effects one of those times i was like ok im just gonna record and see what the hell i come up with, i put it on here cuz i was interested in the reviews...i knew theyd be uhhhhh interesting to say the least. i myself like only about 2:10 to maybe 3:00 of the whole thing as well haha

Well, damn!

It may not be for everyone, but it works for me. I absolutely love this.

betrayalisanART responds:

dude i so appreciate your reviews, and the time you took to listen, and im def looking forward to a collaboration

God's teary-eyed, he's laughing so hard.

Nice piece. Then again, I like random noises (whether or not they're for no reason). I love the rhythm, and the piano, and the pad... hell, I love the whole song. It even loops nicely.

The hits just keep on coming.

I like it. Very 'FM synthy', and i'm a sucker for Frequency Modulation (but then, I'm also a sucker for cheap booze, so...).
I like it. It's poundy, boomy, and it has that annoying lead that's a little too loud, but still cool, with it's arpeggiated, octave climbing weirdness.

Hmmm...

I wasn't so sure on this one... until the piano kicked in, at least. After you added the piano, everything feel into place for me. I was able to nod my, tap my foot, even get down a little.
Good stuff.

betrayalisanART responds:

yeah thanks man, i actually uploaded this one ONLY because i figured no one liked anything without a seemingly techno backbone, i made this a long time ago as an experiment...haha funny to think that THIS was an experiment compared to the other stuff but yeah, its def not my regular style, but you have to try everything once, or twice....actually i guess you dont but haha i dont know....

Is Good!

Well, I think you should do more like this (actually, you should do more however the hell you want).
While Huzegun is right, kinda, this is more like a cross between indie and ambient. If you had a steady rhythm and obscure lyrics referencing obscure literature (or something, i'm just making all this crap up), then it would definately be indie.
Also, my mom likes tis song, as well (no joke, my mom actaully loves this song, and most of your music).

... oh, and give Iron and Wine some time, and they'll be on the electronic bandwagon, too, just like Ben Gibbard, Kings of Convienance (or Erland Oye, at least), Dave Bazan, Of Montreal, Bright Eyes, Stephen Malkamus and all the rest that i'm too lazy to list. Actual I bet electroni Iron and Wine would sound awesome.

I would make a 'Krafty' joke...

... but New Order already used that joke. However, good stuff. Reminds me very much of the German pioneers.

betrayalisanART responds:

if theres one thing i dont mind hearing, its that this sounds like kraftwerk ASSUMING you meant them as the german pioneers...and the whole 'krafty' thing haha

Beautiful.

Soothing, without being boring. Kinda reminds me of everything I like about Brian Eno, or the Warp Records stuff.
Excellent chill-out music, I like it.

betrayalisanART responds:

god damn i love brian eno, i have a song that ill be uploading soon, should remain true to the eno type ambiance...the sort of 'lack' of a rhythm floaty type sleeper music....and again, thanks a lot.

Pretty damn awesome...

I believe you said this was made with Subtractor. This is pretty cool. The melody reminds me of the countless hours of my childnood that I put into RPGs on the SNES. Good stuff!

Should've used the Pythagorean Theorem, bitch!
