Wow!

I love what you did here. You really took this piece to a whole new level. This was one of favorite FFVI pieces, and I just love this rendition.

"I have found that I don't get nearly as many reviews I would like to get. How am I supposed to become better when I don't get the feedback I require?"
Too true. There's nothing worse than getting a low score, but no reviews. People need to learn how to review and give feedback.

-Oh, and I didn't notice any screw-ups on this song. I guess I just don't have critical enough ears.

Imn responds:

Low score and no reviews! ARGH! How am I supposed to fix my problems if you can't even speak to me!?

Anyway, there is one screw-up at 3:03-3:04, where the melody hits a few extra notes more than what it was supposed to (the same notes that occur at 2:56). This is when it's compared to the original song. And for some reason I cannot find the second screw-up... but yeah. They are there.

I am very glad that you enjoy the song; "Wild West" is truly one of my favorites from Final Fantasy VI as well. I actually put a few different sounds together with no planning, added the notes from Wild West, and immediately thought the outcome would be something to be enjoyed very much. This, of course, is the outcome. =P

Thank you for the review (more like a big compliment). I'd love to have you listen to more of my songs as you have done so with "Chasing Blue Stars (Rough);" it's nice to know that my works are enjoyable.

Love this.

This is a beautiful song, and proof that sometimes less is more. I love that slippery melody, and all the whooshes. I only wish this was longer.

p4c responds:

yeah, i did this as an exercise to see if u can make a song with sines alone, and it really put things into perspective 4 me--you dont need all the bells and whistles to sound nice. and once ur mission shifts from that to making good music, it feels so much more satisfying :) enjoy, ill have to cfheck ur stuff out again soon [cant right now, on vacation]

I like.

Awesome. Love the percussion I especially love the cool little bits in the song, like the footsteps at the :51 second mark. Then when the strings really kick in, it adds an awesome feel to the song.
Good stuff, very cinematic.

Tight

Nice job! Kind reminds me of Plug. sounds cool. You should definitely make a DnB song.

p4c responds:

oh but i did! see my submission "escape" [its a little old, and so was this, so i may make some more later.]

i think ppl on newgrounds spend too little time doing actual drumwork when it comes to dnb, i think thats the most fun and cool part of the song when its done well =] (thats why i liked vX2ff4Ji by boomba [won something in the mac7 dnb v. ambient, http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste n/107186]

Awesome!

Kick ass! That beat is infectious, gets under your skin and stays. It's damn catchy. You did an excellent job. this sounds professional.

p4c responds:

ohhhh noes!! the beat wont go away!! it keeps going and going and wont leave me alone!! (/suicide)

thx for the revs, good to see ppl like it :D

This makes me want to go crash some castles.

Great combo! The guitar is excellent, and the instrumentation is superb. Just plain aces!

Introducing Awesome!

This reminds me of the golden 16 bit video games of yesteryear, whatever that means.

The-Swain responds:

It's certainly very MIDI, and nothing speaks the language of the 80s quite like it.

Lush and beautiful.

Great song, beautiful work. I always enjoy your stuff, and this song is no exception. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the beats, I thought their sound kind-of complemented the rest of the song, and kept my attention on the melody, where it should be. In any case, thank for for making yet another excellent song.

I'm gonna have to agree with everyone else...

... and say that this song is addicting. I love it.
There's not much else to say. It's a perfect song.

awesome!

I love this. I don't know if it was industrial, but I thought it was cool. I like everything was very trebley, a lot of treble, and it almost brought the bass out more in comparison. The song has a lot going on, and I love it.

Should've used the Pythagorean Theorem, bitch!
