I thought that perhaps you had left the portal... but I'm glad that you didn't. These beats are stellar fresh and all up in the business, and your melodies are just as wickedly fresh as they were in the past.
I hope we hear more of this awesomeness soon!

I'll be honest, I thought this was going to be a boring, repetitive techno song when I first listened, but I was wrong (and thank god I was). You have a very catchy melody here, and everything in the song frames it quite well. Your rhythms are tight and delightfully bouncy, which serves to support how busy the song is.
The only thing I didn't like (and this is a very minor complaint) is how fake the guitar/ukulele sounds. I personally would've used a real ukulele, but I can understand why you chose not to (it's such a pain to get good recording of real instruments, then you have to tweak everything to get it in time, etc. etc.).
All in all, this is an awesome song and I can picture a crowd bouncing around to this in the clubs.
Keep up the great work!

The voice acting was excellent, too. The only issue is that sometimes Psycho Mantis sometimes lapses into a bit of a Hispanic accent (but only briefly).
Keep up the good voice acting, Newgrounds could use more of it.
Author's Response:
thanks yeah. Sometimes I dipped out of the accent, but I think it highlighted a few of the punchier lines.
I would love to do more voice acting so, everybody FYI, if you're ever looking for a guy to do some voices... *nudge nudge* ...

This is one of my all-time faves here on the NGAP, and I can't believe I've waited so long to review it. This song is wearing out the hard drive of my I-Pod, that's how much I listen to it. The playing is skilled, the compisition is awesome, and the recording fidelity is crisp and clear.
This sounds just as wonderful as anything by Elliott Smith, Bright Eyes, Modest Mouse, Built to Spill etc etc.
Everyone on the NGAP should have this on their favorites.

Love the mellowness, and the cool warbly melody bits. Sounds very Rephlex, very much indeed. It almost reminds me of 'Melodies from Mars', but more in depth.

I like this better than the original. I especially like how the electric contrasts with the acoustic. I really like the voice, too. Kinda reminded me of Nick Drake.

I love the drums, and the samples are a nice touch, and the song itself is pretty cool.
